RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- In its weekly crime suppression initiative, Virginia State Police troopers seized more than $8 million worth of illegal narcotics in one week.
From Wednesday, Oct. 29, to Tuesday, Nov. 4, the operation, which is a partnership with local and federal agencies, seized 2,082 pounds of narcotics valued at $8,430,529.
Per state police, the following is a breakdown of the recovered narcotics: • 2.3 pounds of cocaine • 1.7 pounds of crack cocaine • 2,025 pounds of marijuana • 7.1 ounces of heroin • 3.5 ounces of methamphetamine • 2.4 ounces of fentanyl • 85 THC Vapes
