MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Retired Grizzlies star Tony Allen is claiming innocence after he was arrested in Poinsett County , Arkansas, on two charges of drug possession.
Documents show that Allen and his driver, William Hatton, were booked into the Poinsett County Detention Center on November 5. Both were charged with possession of marijuana and possession of meth or cocaine.
The following day, Allen released a statement on Facebook , maintaining that the drugs did not belong to him and he was not even aware of them.
