MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio -- A wanted Akron man, 45, was arrested at about 11 a.m. Oct. 26 on Engle Road between Bagley and Sheldon roads.
Police had pulled over the man’s Chevrolet Trax after checking the license plate and learning that the vehicle’s owner, a 53-year-old Massillon man, was wanted for felony drug possession by the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.
The Massillon man was in the Trax’s front passenger seat. Police ordered him out of the vehicle, then placed him in handcuffs.
Police then discovered that the driver, the Akron man, was also was also wanted for felony drug possession by the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.
Inside the Trax, police found a small plastic bag containing what they believed were narcotics and various drug paraphernalia.
