The first widespread snow of the cold season will move across southern Michigan this weekend. Let’s talk about the snow on the way, but just through midday Sunday.
I’m trying to separate the weekend and Monday snow into two parts. The first part is a widespread system with rain and snow over the southern third of Lower Michigan Saturday night and early Sunday. The second period of snow is a different snow. It will be a lake-effect snow from Sunday through Monday night.
So let’s focus here on the Saturday night and Sunday morning snow, and rain.
