CORNERSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Every staff member of the Town of Cornersville Fire Department, along with the fire chief, has resigned.

Matt Fox, the town's former fire chief, told News 2 that the decision "weighed heavily" upon him and had for a while. Fox submitted his resignation letter to the Mayor and Board of Alderpersons at their Thursday meeting. He added that each member of his six-person crew also turned in their resignations — and had made their decisions independently.
