ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - More than 300 pounds of methamphetamine were seized from Norcross storage facility last month, according to the Department of Justice.
U.S. Attorney Theodore S. Hertzberg said DEA agents saw Marco Cueto-Rosales, 47, enter a storage unit on Oct. 10. A Gwinnett County police K-9 unit “alerted to the odor of narcotics emanating” from the unit later that day. Federal agents searched the unit and found more than 325 pounds of methamphetamine.
Cueto-Rosales was arrested and charged with conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine.
Hertzberg said Cueto-Rosales was unlawfully in the United States.
