Five Monroe County Region football teams are playing for district championships tonight in the MHSAA state football playoffs.

One is assured of winning because Bedford is visiting Gibraltar Carlson for a Division 2 contest.

Jefferson is still alive in Division 5, Ida in Division 6 and St. Mary Catholic Central in Division 7.

SMCC will be at home while Jefferson and Ida hit the road for the first time in the playoffs.
