ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque man who's been behind bars for almost 20 years will spend an additional 13 years in prison after being connected to a 2007 rape. The Bernalillo County District Attorney's Office said that in August, Jesus Cordova pled guilty to the sexual assault. The DA's Office said this comes after Cordova has spent nearly two decades behind bars for a different sexual offense from April 2007. Bernalillo County DA Sam Bregman said this conviction marks the final action of the county's Project Predator, a cold case rape project where volunteer attorneys prosecuted cases identified
