BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A man has been arrested after a multi-parish investigation into fentanyl distribution in the Baton Rouge area, which led to an accidental drug overdose.
According to the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, 30-year-old Losand Mansion was arrested for multiple drug possession and distribution charges, with a charge for second-degree murder pending the outcome of a toxicology report.
Agents with EBRSO were contacted about a fatal fentanyl overdose that occurred on Oct. 25, 2025. Officials believe Mansion was the narcotics distributor who supplied the lethal dose of fentanyl.
