With just one game remaining on the 6-6A football schedule, Thursday’s round of action saw the top two teams in the district close out the regular season on a winning note – albeit in starkly different fashions.
Allen, entering the postseason at 10-0 for the second straight year, will be 6-6A’s top seed in the Class 6A Division I bracket with second-place Prosper entrenched as the district's top seed in Division II. Plano is also playoff-bound but its bracket and seeding hinge on the outcome of Friday’s game between McKinney and Prosper Rock Hill.
