More people have landed jobs in London and region over the last 12 months, but the unemployment rate nudged up last month as the population and workforce grew faster, new figures show.
Just-released Statistics Canada numbers show the London census metropolitan area posted a 6.5 per cent unemployment rate in October, compared to 6.2 per cent in September – but still below the 6.6 per cent from October 2024.
