Trinity Lutheran Church is currently offering a community Bible study titled “Opening the Bible in the 21 st Century” on Tuesdays from 1 to 2:15 p.m. in the Trinity Library/Study Center. It's being taught by Ann Marie Wagstaff and Andy Buzzelli.

Wagstaff said “the study focuses on the Book of Exodus — from darkness into light. It describes the departure (from Egypt} a journey (through the wilderness) and arrival (at the edge of the Promised Land).

“ Along the way, a nation is born and grows up. The birth and care of that nation is a gift of God, but it is never easy for the Hebrew people who struggle to remember their past, to honor the revelation of God’s law, and to accept their destiny in a role that is bigger than any one generation.”
