They say that health is wealth, which is why one local organization is helping seniors to stay healthy.
The YMCA of Greater Erie partnered with Sarah Reed to host a senior health fair on Friday.
Over sixty vendors were in attendance, offering information, services and even basket raffles with wellness-related prizes.
Deanna Renaud, vice president of marketing and financial development, said that the event was geared towards active older adults.
"So it's a great opportunity for seniors to just kind of get to know who else is in their community and what other resources there are for them. Again, everything from heating assistance, we got Veterans Affairs here with us today. So really a broad scope of resources and friends here to support," said Renaud.
This health fair is held annually,
