BEAUMONT, Texas — A police dog helped track down three suspects early Thursday after they ran away from a stolen pickup truck that crashed in Orange County following a pursuit from Beaumont.
K-9 Sergeant Lisenby and his dog, Loki, located all three suspects after an extensive search, Beaumont police said.
The incident began around 4:49 a.m. Nov. 6 when officers responded to the Holiday Inn Express in the 7100 block of Eastex Freeway for a stolen vehicle report. The victim was tracking the Ford F-250 and provided its location to police.
Officers found the truck and tried to stop it, but the driver sped away. The chase continued into Orange County before the truck hit a telephone pole. Three suspects ran from the truck, according to a social media update from the Beaumont Police Departmen
