GRAVESEND — A 10,086-SQUARE-FOOT HOME at 2126 East 4th St. sold for $32 million last week, setting a new borough record and surpassing the $25.5 million paid for 8 Montague Terrace in 2020, according to Curbed. The Beaux-Arts-style property was built in 2006 and was owned by developer Eli Gindi of the Century 21 family and sold off-market to Victor Hakim, founder of Choice Home Warranty. Brokers said the sale likely included adjoining parcels, contributing to the high price.

The enclave is centered between Avenues S and U, and has long commanded seven- and eight-figure listings among Brooklyn’s Syrian Jewish real estate elite. Analysts say the deal underscores Gravesend’s position as one of New York’s most insulated ultra-luxury markets.
