Kerby Joseph will miss his third straight game with a knee injury.
The Detroit Lions ruled Joseph and four other players out for Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders , though starting tackles Penei Sewell and Taylor Decker are expected to play.
Joseph did not practice this week and has not played since the Lions ’ Week 6 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs . He injured his knee in training camp, then aggravated the injury in a September win over the Cleveland Browns .
Along with Joseph, the Lions (5-3) ruled defensive tackle Pat O’Connor (knee), running back Jacob Saylors (back), guard Myles Frazier (knee) and defensive tackle Josh Paschal (back) out for Sunday.
Frazier is on the physically unable to perform list and Paschal the nonfootball injury list . Neither ha
