1FedEx contractor arrested after refusing to leave Stafford County facility

Stafford, VA – A 27-year-old man was arrested Thursday morning after allegedly refusing to leave a FedEx facility in Stafford County, even after repeated requests from both management and law enforcement.

Sergeant J.W. Hutcheson with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disturbance around 8:30 a.m. at the FedEx location on Centreport Parkway. According to reports, a contracted employee had been ordered to leave the premises by management but would not comply.

The individual, identified as Maurice Gaskins Jr. of King George, continued to remain on the property after being confronted by authorities. Gaskins was subsequently taken into custody and charged with trespassing.
