FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Holiday Inn once again teamed up with United Way of Cass Clay to bring cheesy dishes to try.

This year marks the second annual Cheesy for Charity event.

The event invited local chefs and restaurants for a friendly mac and cheese competition.

People from the community were invited to sample each chef’s creation of mac and cheese and vote for their favorite.

Proceeds from the event support United Way’s mission to help families.

“It’s fun to get some of the restaurants together in kind of a fun for charity. Sure, it’s a competition, but more of a friendly competition. And who doesn’t like mac n cheese when the weather is starting to turn cold out there,” said Luke Peters, Executive Chef for Holiday Inn.
