We are firmly into dry season, and this is the time of year when cold fronts start to do their thing.

We are no strangers to cold fronts this fall, as we had a nice cool-down going into Halloween, but this front looks even stronger.

You may have heard the phrase, “It’s darkest before dawn.” Well, with cold fronts, it’s usually warmest right before they hit.

Look for temperatures to push into the mid- to upper-80s this weekend, with humidity, before taking a plunge Monday night and into Tuesday morning.

Our official forecast is currently calling for a morning low of 53 in Fort Lauderdale, 55 in Miami and 65 in Key West on Tuesday. A typical low in Miami-Dade and Broward this time of the year is right around 70, so this is significant.
