Glenolden police are asking people to be on the lookout for a gold van that could help them with a kidnapping investigation.

A Glenolden mother, who didn't want to be identified, told NBC10 that her high school son wasn't answering his phone on Wednesday night and that immediately became a red flag.

According to her, the teenager had been walking in the area of Sharp and Glenolden Avenues when two men in a gold van snatched him.

"Within a couple seconds, a bigger heavier set guy just jumped out of the back and grabbed him and pulled him in. He said there were no seats in the vehicle," the mother told us.
