Boulder police are searching for a man they say pulled a gun on McGuckin Hardware employees when he tried to leave the store with stolen merchandise.
At about 5:49 p.m. Thursday, a man was seen on surveillance footage trying to leave the Arapahoe Avenue hardware store when two employees stopped him, according to a Boulder police release and the footage. The two employees then backed away and the man left the store, according to the post. The man is suspected of aggravated robbery and menacing, the release states.
No other people were menaced, Boulder spokesperson Dionne Waugh said. Waugh did not know what items were stolen or the value of the stolen goods.
