Rainstorms are expected to move into Massachusetts as a cold front blankets the state over the weekend.
The showers will begin Friday night after 7 p.m. and continue until 4 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.
Rain is expected to be light statewide, though coastal areas of the state may be at risk for rumbles of thunder after midnight.
Temperatures will be mild for early November in the high 40s and low 50s, though the Berkshires may hang in the low 40s overnight.
In western parts of the state such as Pittsfield, rain is likely mainly before 1 a.m., while Springfield will see showers tapering off by around 3 a.m.
Worcester is forecast to get rain between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m., with patchy fog developing after 1 a.m.
