ALLIANCE, Ohio (WKBN) -- You don't want to report bull to a police officer.
But one person in Alliance called 911 this week to report suspicious activity of a man riding a bull, and the department dispatched an officer.
Ronald Hooks rushed to the scene and double checked with dispatch on the way that the call was about a real bull. He was told it was.
Hooks saw it for himself outside a hardware store and even got a much closer look than he ever expected.
Two minutes later, Hooks learned the bull's name was Gus. He accepted an offer to take a ride and climbed on top of Gus.
Hooks even had a picture taken with him riding the bull.
Gus was in the parking lot to promote a rodeo this weekend in Columbiana County.
