You may want to take the toques and winter tires out of storage this weekend, Toronto.
The city could see an accumulation of between two and 10 centimetres of snow on Sunday, Environment Canada said in a special weather statement issued Friday afternoon.
“A low-pressure system could bring significant snowfall to parts of southern Ontario on Sunday,” the weather agency said, advising motorists to expect difficult driving conditions and to “adjust travel plans accordingly.”
“Installation of winter tires should be considered prior to Sunday,” the agency added.
