SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - The Greene County prosecutor charged a third person wanted in connection with the death of a man found abandoned in a ditch.
Christopher Key, 51, faces a charge of abandonment of a corpse in the death of David Costlow on October 26. Paul Sartin faces a second-degree murder charge in the case. Shannon Phillips, 45, also faces a charge of abandonment of a corpse in the case.
Investigators say Costlow was found dead in a ditch off North Farm Road 153, south of Farm Road 6. He had been shot multiple times.
Investigators say Sartin admitted there was an argument at a homeless camp at Summit and Smith in Springfield. Investigators say Sartin claimed that Costlow was about to attack him, and somebody shot him. He could not identify the shooter. Sartin claimed Phillips
