LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A pedestrian died after a crash in east Lincoln on Friday.

The crash occurred near South 84th and A streets at 2:35 p.m. LPD said a woman in her 40s was using the crosswalk when she was hit. She was later taken to a local hospital, where she died.

According to LPD, South 84th northbound from A Street to Sandalwood Drive was closed due to the crash.
