Taco Bell customers, prepare to be "Baja Blasted" like never before.
Dubbed by Taco Bell as the "rarest dessert of the season," the Mountain Dew Baja Blast Pie has officially landed at participating locations, but not for long.
The possibility of a dessert inspired by Taco Bell's signature drink was first teased at Live Más LIVE, an annual brand-sponsored event, in February 2024, and then again six months later during Taco Bell's 20th "Bajaversary," according to the fast-food chain.
According to Taco Bell, the limited-edition pie "flips the legendary Tropical Lime flavor of Baja Blast into a creamy, key lime–style dessert, featuring a graham crumb crust and topped with whipped cream." All pies are sold whole, retailing for $19.99.
The Irvine, California-headquartered chain said the Baja Blast Pie "ignited excitement, becoming a legend devotees couldn’t wait to taste," with fans keeping the "dream alive" up until rollout.
"Unexpected in every way, it’s the iconic tropical Baja Blast flavor reimagined as a creamy key lime-style pie that’s more than your everyday dessert," Taco Bell said in a news release. "It’s a statement in a sea of stuffing."
The release of Baja Blast Pie, nicknamed by Taco Bell "the fan-fueled legend," is intent on "crashing Friendsgiving," according to the fast-food chain. Its release comes months after the brand introduced a new Baja Blast flavor: Mountain Dew Baja Midnight.
Though fans will have to act fast to get their hands on the Baja Blast Pie, the brand is also offering an additional treat in the Baja Blast Pie Chiller, a frosty twist on the Baja Blast Pie, available exclusively at Live Más Cafés in Southern California and Texas.

While not everyone who wants to try the Baja Blast Pie has gotten the chance to, those who have are enjoying it, at least so far.
Others, though, weren't impressed, with one online user saying that the filling "tastes like baja blast flavored pudding and not a good pudding."
