“What I didn't like about my game are easy fixes like reads (that were) second nature, were a little rusty,” Lowry said.

Adam Lowry loves the game he plays for a living, even though he doesn’t always love the way he plays.

“I didn’t love my game,” the Jets captain told reporters prior to Friday night’s road game against the San Jose Sharks.

After missing a dozen games because of off-season hip surgery, Lowry made his season debut in the 3-0 loss to the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday night.

The Calgary native logged 14:08 of ice time. He also played 3:46 on the penalty kill. The Jets allowed one power-play goal in six attempts.
