DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Durham Athletic Park is on the minds of city leaders as they consider three ideas for its future use -- preservation/restoration, transformation or a new development.
"There are limitless possibilities for Durham Athletic Park ," Durham Sports Commission Executive Director Marcus Manning said.
The nearly century-old ballpark was once home to the Durham Bulls and has hosted North Carolina Central University baseball games. Now, it's being used for youth and high school baseball, but Manning said he sees a lot of potential.
