A busy Peak District A-road has been closed tonight - Friday, November 7 - due to concerns about trees on land nearby.
Derbyshire County Council has shut the A6 Bakewell Road in Buxton to traffic and pedestrians while the trees are taken down.
Barriers are in place and the council has said diversion routes will be put in place.
The closure is between the Morrisons roundabout and the roundabout for the A53 and Fairfield Road.

It is currently unclear how long the road will be closed for.
A Derbyshire County Council spokesperson said: "We've concerns about trees that are on land next to the A6 in Buxton, so we've taken the decision to close the road to all traffic and pedestrians.
