LINCOLN, Neb. —

The defense may have missed several tackles during the Nebraska-UCLA game in 1993, but that was not the case for Husker linebacker Trev Alberts.

No. 34 recorded a career-high 12 tackles, including 10 solo stops.

"I think this is probably the game that I was the most physically tired and given everything I had inside of me for the, for the team. I just felt as a senior and as a captain, I'm supposed to be a leader and so I just felt that I had to make something happen and I tried to do that every play. So at the end of the game, I was very happy to get back in Lincoln and rest my body," Alberts said.
