PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Governor Josh Shapiro visited Share Food on Friday with a message of relief for thousands of Pennsylvania families -- that help is on the way.
SNAP recipients who have not yet received their payments for November will see funds in their accounts by midnight, Shapiro announced during his visit.
The announcement follows a judge's ruling Thursday ordering the Trump administration to immediately resume SNAP payments , which had been delayed due to the recent federal shutdown.
During an impassioned speech, Shapiro spoke about the 2 million Pennsylvanians who rely on SNAP benefits and the uncertainty they've faced in recent weeks.
"That makes me angry. And that's why I went to court, and that's why we're funding Share, and that's why we're putting dollars back
