A popular exhibit at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley lets the public to be immersed in the world of cowboys and Western history. In a prepared statement the Library said, “Discover how the cowboy — once a rugged laborer driving cattle across unforgiving terrain — became a larger-than-life legend symbolizing strength, self-reliance and freedom.”

Among other items, visitors can see rare photographs, historic artifacts and “costumes from classic Western films.” One of the most popular exhibits gives visitors a chance to pick up a replica rifle that uses light to electronically knock down targets.
