Multiple people were detained Thursday following an after-school altercation that resulted in several students being injured with minor lacerations, police said.

The scuffle happened after students were let out of Burbank High School, according to police.

At least 4 people, all believed to be students, were injured in the incident. Police said some of those involved were detained and others went to a nearby hospital on their own.

Details on what led to the altercation were not immediately available. Burbank Police are still investigating who the victims and the attackers are.
