BURBANK, Calif. (KABC) -- Two 16-year-old boys were stabbed at a parking lot near Burbank High School Friday afternoon, police said.
A large crowd of students gathered at an Office Depot parking lot across the school when the violence erupted around 2:45 p.m., according to the Burbank Police Department.
An altercation broke out, resulting two in two people getting stabbed.
The suspects and victims fled the area before officers arrived but the victims were later found at a hospital, Burbank police said in a news release. Police said the victims, both 16 years old, had multiple stab wounds and were in stable condition.
The victims are believed to be Burbank High students, police said.
