MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - More than 700,000 Wisconsin residents received FoodShare benefits Friday after a federal court ruled the USDA must use contingency funds to make full payments to the state for the November. Yet, some Wisconsinites say they are still left with questions about the future.
According to the Evers administration, funds became available for Wisconsin FoodShare members at midnight.
The Evers administration says more than $104 million have been issued for people to buy groceries. The administration said the state relied on federal funding as they normally would.
