SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - We are turning up the heat for the weekend with highs in the mid 80s away from the water and low 80s near the beaches. Should be a delightful weekend for boating and hitting the beaches.
We will see some areas of fog both Saturday and Sunday morning due to the light winds and higher humidity moving in. That fog should burn off quickly and then look for partly cloudy skies both Saturday and Sunday.
There is only a 20% chance for an isolated shower or thunderstorm but most areas will stay dry over the weekend. So flip flops and bathing suits through Sunday and then we do a flip flop on our weather.
A strong cold front will sweep through late Sunday night through early Monday morning bringing in the coldest air of the season. This front will bring a line of showers
