CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KY3) -A Camden County man has been sentenced for killing a man with his truck in 2022.
Jordan Jones will spend 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter and armed criminal action in the death of Michael Varney .
In September 2022, investigators say Varney’s girlfriend called 911, claiming Varney had been hit by a car in a driveway north of Camdenton.
Deputies found Varney dead. Witnesses told investigators they saw Varney arguing with Jones earlier in the day. Witnesses described the argument as volatile.
Investigators claim Jones used his truck to hit Varney on his front porch and left.
