A Philadelphia police officer on a dirt bike was hurt after being involved in a crash involving another vehicle on Broad Street in North Philly, officials said.

The crash happened just before 9 p.m. on Nov. 7 just south of Temple University's campus at the intersection of Broad and Thompson streets, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.

An officer who was on a department-issued dirt bike was involved in a crash involving another vehicle, police explained.

The officer was taken to a nearby hospital where they are listed in stable condition, according to Philadelphia Police Inspector DF Pace.
