Dallas nonprofit seeks $10 million for Native American Community Center

During Native American Heritage Month, the Intertribal Community Council of Texas is asking Dallas City Council for $10 million to build a Native American Community Center. Leaders say the center would serve Indigenous people across Texas while offering cultural education for all. Nearly 50,000 Native Americans live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with more than 220,000 statewide.
