AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) - A man wanted on Murder charges in Virginia was arrested Friday in Augusta.
According to our sister station WRIC, 41-year-old Prince Moore was wanted in connection with a deadly shooting near a gas station in Petersburg, Virginia, on September 29.
Moore was located at the Travelodge Hotel on Washington Road in Augusta. Investigators say Moore attempted to flee apprehension by jumping from a second-floor window. He was taken into custody shortly after.
Moore was taken into custody through a joint operation by the Richmond County Sheriff's Office and the U.S. Marshals Service.
