HOUSTON — A Texas-based luxury bus service is experiencing a significant surge in customers as travelers seek alternatives to air travel amid ongoing flight disruptions , according to the company's CEO.

Vonlane, which operates routes between Houston, Dallas and other Texas cities , has seen business increase 31% over the previous week. The company attributes the growth directly to government shutdown impacts and flight reductions that have created widespread uncertainty at airports.
