HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- The director of Warrick County Animal Control addresses recent social media backlash over a "kill list."
Brandon Russell released a letter on Friday, saying the shelter is not a "no-kill" facility and must sometimes make difficult decisions to prevent animal suffering.
He went on to stress the importance of finding homes for animals due to ongoing issues such as abandonment and neglect.
Russell encourages the community to stay involved through fostering, sponsoring, donating, or volunteering.
