MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — Libera has been a staple in the community for girls and young women in need of guidance, and now, after 10 years, the addition of a new facility will help impact even more.

On Friday, Libera welcomed the public to its new community center and transitional living facility located at 80 School Street in Morgantown.

Although the building itself has lived many different lives, a whole new perspective has been brought to the facility, as the building and its neighboring duplex can house eight young women at a time.

Those living on School Street will also receive wraparound services, including therapy, job support, life training skills and mentoring.
