Two-seed Toms River South erupted for all three of its goals in the second half of its 3-0 victory over 10-seed Lacey during the quarterfinals of the NJSIAA South Jersey, Group 3 Tournament in Toms River.
Sophomore Brennen Hutton led the way for the Raiders with a game-high two goals in the victory.
Freshman Jack Gillen found the back of the net for the first time this season as well for the Raiders.
Sophomore Brady Gillen dished out two assists for the Raiders and Aiden Reis also registered an assist against Lacey (10-11-1).
Senior Mike Moore tallied four saves in net to record his third straight shutout and 10th overall this fall for Toms River East, which has won four of its last five games.
Toms River East (17-6) will host six-seed Delsea in the semifinals.
