The city of Aspen and Yogi’s LLC reached an agreement to terminate Yogi’s lease two years into the term and less than one year since the restaurant started operating.

Yogi’s was open briefly, from December to early summer. The city will pay Yogi’s $300,000 to relinquish the space at 455 Rio Grande Place, including all furniture and equipment on the premises. The agreement comes about six months after the city ordered Yogi’s to vacate its location for failure to pay rent and utilities on time, as the Aspen Daily News previously reported .
