The Colorado high school football playoffs are here as November arrives on the calendar.

The top 8 seeds in Classes 4A and 5A have first-round byes, leaving Nos. 9 through 24 facing off in first round action this weekend.

Classes 2A and below also begin the postseason, with straight 16-team brackets and no byes. Most of these classifications play their games on Saturday, Nov. 8.
