KENTUCKY, USA — The coldest air of the season so far will roll into Kentucky and southern Indiana beginning on Sunday. A low-pressure system to our north will push a cold front through Kentuckiana Sunday, causing temperatures to plummet and winds to become gusty.

Temperatures throughout Sunday will hover in the 40s but will feel like the 30s thanks to a strong northwest wind. Light rain showers may mix with snow on the backside of the area of low pressure, but minimal impacts are expected.
Temperatures Sunday night will dip into the 20s area-wide, marking Louisville’s first freeze of the season – pretty much right on schedule. Louisville's average first freeze is November 7th. Wind chills may fall into the teens.
