SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Friday, Chatham Area Transit came together to remember a loss of one of its own.
They are remembering Diane Morrall a fixed route operator who died just a few weeks ago.
The vigil took place outside of the Chatham Area Transit headquarters Friday night. People in attendance lit candles and shared words about Diane.
They called her a loving person, who put 100% into everything she did.
Her family says she leaves behind a 10 year old son and a job that she genuinely enjoyed.
Friends, family, and coworkers all joining together for a candle light vigil.
Her family says seeing just how many people showed up tonight for her vigil lets them know she was loved. Speakers at Friday’s events also sharing stories and memories of the bus driver.
