I had forgotten how easy it is to make this delicious sauce that goes so well with so many different proteins.

While the recipe uses it on salmon, you can use this sauce as a glaze for chicken, beef, pork or vegetables.

I’ve reduced the amount of sugar in the original recipe and simplified the ingredients. Mirin is a sweet Japanese cooking wine that can be purchased at Asian markets and at some larger grocery stores.
